Basically the presentation was 20 minutes long and they announced project legion, which will basically be dust514 on the PC but a separate game, and now the forums are being filled with the delicious tears of console players which I will then collect and use to liquid cool my GTX Titan

Ok, so that's what happened at Fanfest.
Eve Legion is Dust 514 on the PC. More information here.
And this is one of the first glimpses of the gameplay video, here.
I can only imagine what is about to happen on these forums for the next few days. But search your immortal souls mercs. We all knew this was happening.
The only thing I can say is that I think I'm about to start saving my pocket change for the first time in almost 15 years (!) to buy a gaming PC in the near future.
