We're console players......dust isn't going to pc. They are creating a new fps for the pc. What is the point of two independent fps shooters in new eden??? They are cancelling Dust...that's why they don't have plans for it to come to ps4.

You don't know this,,, they mentioned nothing to do with DUST 3. CCP knew they wer developing on the PS3. The PS3 has some awesome games that work very well online. Yes the PS3 isnt super powerful these days,,, but there's also a developer incompetence involved here, why are they trying to push the PS3 so much? Personally I think it's inefficient code 4 The idea was to tap a new FPS market 5 They have just said PC,,, no mention of PS4... so you're currently major WISHING on that (but im sure if it ever does then people'll blame the useless PS4 for the game failing) 6 But the whole question of balance based on hardware gets interesting

They are cancelling Dust...that's why they don't have plans for it to come to ps4. ps4 and pc can be developped for equally, the ps4 uses pc architecture, it's harder to develop for both but it's harder to just develop for the ps3 alone. i'm not saying they won't cancel dust on the consoles, they very well might, but what I can say is we don't know for sure they will yet.

I was perfectly happy with a PC and a 360, but I bought a PS3 to play DUST, because I was told that's where the sandbox-y shooter inside New Eden I'd been dreaming of for years was going to be. What I got was a buggy, clumsy mechanic'd, mess of a lobby shooter that I wouldn't have given the time of day to TEN YEARS AGO that was only tangentially related to EVE Online and the New Eden universe. I kept with it, though. Because it was an MMO, and MMOs evolve. It may not have been perfect then, and it may not have ever got there, but as an MMO it had the ability to continually move ever closer toward that ideal. Today CCP told me that this won't ever happen. Development has halted (not "backburnered" but HALTED based upon remarks from a sound designer on the stream) and the years I've waited, the aurum I've spent and the PS3 I bought were for nothing. Well, not nothing. Legion came from this. It will be the parasitic wasp that bursts forth from the desiccated husk of a caterpillar that was DUST 514. The sad thing is, I won't ever get to play the shooter I was dreaming of. The free, sandbox-y, liberated shooter taking place in the harsh, brutal and connected EVE universe. I won't ever get to play Legion, for fear that after three years time of being disappointed and strung along yet again, CCP will call another "do-over" and try to sell me on a different game, on yet another platform. I am done.

Double/Tripple SP events just to milk the players which buy AUR for boosters. Thats all there is to it. Dust getting orted to PC. Stop playing now and dont feed CCP any more money!
