Also, he has the Valkyrie Keynote listed from 1-7, but there is no 4, so go from part 3 to 5.

Part 2 confirmed that they developed Valkyrie in Newcastle. DUST development hasn't been there for a while.

Which means at one point it was, and now it isn't. They made that studio for Dust. Now it's being used for something else.
The Dust team in Shanghai hasn't been growing either, it's been shrinking. |

Ah I misunderstood you, I thought you implied that they took devs from DUST to work on Valkyrie.

Well, in a way they did.
They can only pay so many employees and still stay profitable. They don't start studios to keep them incredibly small.
Were Valkyrie not a thing, all of those resources would've gone to Dust because Newcastle was created specifically for Next Gen gaming development -- which is what Dust was supposed to be before they decided it was easier to just hire a bunch of cheap chinese labor and throw it on a last-gen console. |

Which is why most of the communty is confused why ccp would choose to keep office in a smog filed hell hole as one of my temps called it, given UK now has tax breaks and a bigger tallent pool and dirt cheep office space in the north keeping the office in a poor market demand area makes no sense. Unless china went under a massive culture shift while i was not looking
