You guys didn't notify anyone at all. Nothing in the news on the launcher, no sticky in the forums. I'll venture to say only a fraction of the playerbase even knows that there's an event going on. You need to announce it and extend the event by the 2 days that people haven't been aware of it.
Ishukone loyalist and Caldari Scout enthusiast.
Nerf the CR so I can justify using something else!

It's something like 250sp per kill in a normal dropsuit and 500sp per kill in an "Origin" dropsuit. I don't know for sure because it's all word of mouth.

I just found out yesterday, and I check the forums regularly as well as their twitter. They really need to make this stuff more public, announcements across all media platforms, or more importantly, in game!

Does anybody even look at the "Updates" page when they login? Seriously? It even says in the last bar, the News and Events tab, the entirety of Operation Origin. Get off the retard train and look around. You either find it on the forums, in the load-up screen or in the Updates screen in the NeoCom.

A representative of CCP dressed up in a dropsuit costume should break down my front door, approach me and say "Sir, you have new orders. You are to deploy immediately", then hand me a manila folder stamped "TOP SECRET: OPERATION ORIGIN" containing all details of the event while he starts up my PS3 and logs me into dust and prepares a mug of coffee for me before leaving for the next dust mercenary
They sent an email and its on the updates page in the game wtf more do they have to do |

It's no more grindy than capping out normally.
2x SP from WP, and 2x weekly cap. So that is just a tiny bit longer to cap out compared to normal. (5SP/sec spent in match is the same.)
250sp for killing infantry you would have kill anyway out of a bonus pool of 500k.
So you get +50 WP for killing someone. You normally get 1 SP per WP, so 50 SP per kill.
Now you get +50 WP for killing some ******* and you get 5 SP per WP, so 250 SP per kill, plus another 250 SP just for killing him, 400 if you killed him while you were wearing an Origin suit.
As an extra bonus CCP forgot to mention, killing someone while wearing an Origin suit gives you huge e-peen bragging rights over that person because the origin pack is basically garbage.

This wasn't in my news and updates. I checked for this specific reason.
