okay so this is how the cloaca supposed to work it's supposed to work by when you turn it on you have to wait .5 seconds basically for to completely turn on now when you turn it off you're supposed to wait about .5 seconds for it to let you switched your weapon
how the cloak actually works
you running with your cloak on you press the button to switch your weapon and go straight to your weapon that is not what cloak was supposed to work like
so it's not a bug its a mechanic that hasn't been fixed CCP probably messed up with the code in the living room and didn't put it in right so instead of making instead of the cloak making you wait to get your weapon it gets your weapon in any way to turn off it's supposed to be the other way around you're supposed to wait for it to turn off and then be able to switch your weapon that's what it's supposed to work like

umm, no, i'm willing to bet that they just made it like every other equipment. when you think about it, EVERY equipment has a lightning fast switch back to primary weapon, so they probably just made the cloak no different.
i do agree though, that something needs to be done about being able to fire that quickly after you decloak. it's meant to sneak up behind people, but when you can run almost directly at someone, then kill them before you even decloak, there's obviously a problem.

I'm perfectly fine with referring to the cloak as an avian poop-chute.
Moving on... A LOT of Scouts out hunting with their avian poop-chutes on yesterday. Damn near one or two behind every friggin rock..... It's getting to the point that i'm going to start driving from point to point, or just skill into the damn thing myself.

You want to DRIVE around maps? With cloaca behind every rock? You're insane.
I won't be driving ANYWHERE until we have sorted out this cloaca business. I JUST washed the LAV this morning, I refuse to tempt fate. |

How things are supposed to work and how they wind up being coded rarely match down here in the Dust.
That is the only consistent element of this game, that I have found anyway.

In good ole CCP fashion, they rushed the release of the cloak before it was ready just like everything else?! We told them it would be bad with all the existing frame rate issues, but they did it anyway?! Should've fixed the game mechanics completely first! Now, as usual, the game is being exploited and abused?! Maybe next time they'll listen. I vote for no cloaks, but I will get ridiculed severely for not wanting easy kills smh?! Why would anyone turn down the ability to dominate with virtually no skill because the other player simply doesn't even know your there?! done
