Because you're in love with the idea of DUST and you, like most of us, are attached to something very appealing that DUST already has but nobody can actually name.

Because looking at eve, this game might be that amazing one day some how. There's also nothing that's that great on the pos4 except bf4 and reso gun lol, and those are both pretty sht. The new expansion is nothing like bf2142 titan mode either, not even half as decent. We all also have our dust buddies.
I'd imagine pretty much that.
If you know what a telefrag match is, then I love you.
The tritanium I sell is more relevant than dust has ever been.

I dont PC because im in the wrong timezone and thus dont get practise thus not picked when needed for EU timers thus i dont get the payroll, im in teamplayers because i like squading up with them i however never get the isk.
But i accept that :-) cubs is honest with his payment scheme

I think this is something that a lot of US based corps have in common. I mean I still get to do PC but it is far from a regular occurrence.
How ever people from other corps have mentioned the same thing as you. Their reasons for staying doesn't vary much from yours except for some who mentioned that there are preciously few options for EU corps.
Which is also exacerbated by mates of theirs not meeting prerequisites for joining the corps.

The huge problem is even if a EU corp got together they could not break into PC because of the timers. You cant expect us to fight the big powers at 1 in the morning for weeks on end so their is no point getting an EU corp together we just cant compete.
Which is why timers are stuiped because it defaults to which ever population happens to be biggest.
Yes im aware their are EU fights but its more edge cases made for other reasons than thats when we have people on

No idea dude. But for some reason I'd play this over battlefield or cod or other hot games. Maybe I'm waiting for something special. The mics in this game are crystal though.
Not liking DUST so much so far, but hey, its free.

CCP could take control of the timers so some are permanently set for each time zone. Personally I think the timers should go entirely.

The first thing you do is realize that more SP for your character is not going to make the game any better an experience. Broken mechanics and PC enriched proto stompers will continue to ruin your game experience. A single game mode on old maps with poor player communication turns every public match into a riot rather than a strategic battle, resulting in boredom as one match blurs into another.
The second thing you do is find something productive to replace your previous addition. It doesn't matter how bad DUST is if you don't have anything better to do. So find some other game or activity that is actually fun and you will feel the lure to play fade away.
That is how you do it. |

Any google search with "Dust 514 IRC channel" will land you a browser software where people and Devs hang out. That is if you don't already run independent IRC software.
The chat windows we use is also a type of IRC channel. Supposedly they sometimes visit Dev Hangout although the only one I've seen there is CCP Saberwimg.
