There are some serious performance issues in this game. I frequently drop down to 10 frames/second, and I've see more rubber-banding than I have ever seen in WoW, LotRO, or any other 'conventional' MMORPG. This means that the problems are both client and server side. This game is not capable of running on the PS3, nor is it capable on running on the servers CCP provides. This is unacceptable in the first person shooter genre. I want to like this game, but it punches me in the wang every time I try to enjoy it. I've put so much time into my character, and that is literally the only thing keeping me playing. |

There are possible solutions to some of the issues. But we might need to know more of what is happening in your environment.
Are you playing PC matches when this happens, if so then I cannot help as I quit playing PC matches because of those problems. I rarely have those issues in public matches or FW. Admittedly I rarely play FW but when I do those issue were not present.
Just a quick note hoping that these ideas can address a little of what might be happening.
If you can connect physically to your router then do so. Assuming you have followed the advice from Sony and CCP about port forwarding and all that stuff.
If you must use a wireless router then the older it is the more likely you are to have trouble using it for Dust. Is there a microwave oven close by, are there wireless phones in the house and people on them all the time. Or does either of those cause the game to lag?
How busy is your network at home? Did you leave Steam on and it is downloading/updating games while you are playing? Is someone at your house (connected to your network) addicted to Netflix? Are others watching streaming movies, long YouTube videos or other heavy network intensive tasks?
Have them stop.
In game questions are also available:
Do you play with the same squad mates? Who else in the squad complains about the problems? Try being in game and having everyone left the squad one at a time. If the problem is connected to one particular user then the others will no longer have lag. And you will get to have them answer the previous questions.
What servers are the squad leaders choosing? What server do you use? Are you playing with squad mates on three or four different continents? See finding the lagger above.
How many chat windows do you have open? Dust has had many audio problems with audio and voice chat, so cut down the number of channels to four. Do it one at a time, and write down the ones you cut so you can rejoin them later. If one is the problem or if just more than X is your issue then do X-1. I have never heard of a particular chat being a problem but it might well be an issue.
That is most of what I can think of off the top of my head. Send me mail in game if you need more assistance or reply here (although the forums don't always tell me when someone replies).
Good Luck.
And so it goes.
