I find that damp + cloak + shotgun + two precision enhancers works wonders on anything but Gallente scouts.
Scouts USUALLY can't take two shots... Usually... Freaking Gallente scouts.
Heck even some Caldari scouts survived a shotgun blast point blank

The only way I see of overcoming this is if they buff assault suits.
Make stacking modules easier for the medium suits than the light suits. CCP suggested this is a good idea in a recent feed back thread so I hope they follow through with this. This might eventually end up similar to the initiative to gallente better ability to be less encumbered by plates only that I see them applying that to Med. suits.

As a new convert to the post-"nerf" Mass Driver, I would highly recommend you get one! Scouts with shotties are nothing against a scout with a mass driver!

You all got spoiled by the real scouts using just pistols , remotes and knives, then you complained about remotes an got them NERFED , cried about Ascp, got them NERFED , complained about shotguns shooting fast, they get changed to shield damage, you abused logis, an damage mods until scouts finally get buffed, and you begged for respecs........
THIS IS WHAT YOU GET, DEAL WITH IT AND QUIT COMPLAINING!
