If you have a complaint about the WP payout system, post it here, but also post some way to fix it.
Kill Assist is unjust: If I do 99% of the damage to an enemy and then a friendly finishes him off, then I get a Kill Assist, while he gets a Kill. Everything about this is wrong. Pay WP in proportion to the contribution. In other words, pay WP every time damage is done, not on a per kill basis. Perhaps 10 HP of damage = 1 WP

you didnt kill him why should you score the points. its not till hat last round takes him down that the threat is gone. perhaps you should complain aout hit detection as if that was working you would of managed to apply 100% of the damage required and gotten the kill.
now thats fixed can i haz a trade window?

If you are being serious, then I was under the impression that this is a team-oriented game where we should be incentivized to contribute. Generally in team environments, it is considered appropriate to give credit where credit is due. If someone does 99% of the work while you do 1%, then I would say that the other person deserves most of the credit for getting the job done. This is a common convention intended to encourage everyone to give their best.
Unless you are a manager, in which case you get credit for the effort of the entire team, while they return to slurp their gruel.

person who puts the last round in them scores the kill. what fps do you know that works differently? NONE

Unless you are a manager, in which case you get credit for the effort of the entire team, while they return to slurp their gruel. You're not really understanding how this works. For example: I'm fighting two players. I split off one and kill him while losing about 90% of my HP. However, he failed to kill me. Ultimately, he achieved nothing. Then, his friend appears, and kills me, getting +50 and rewarding his teammate with +25. WP rewards are about what you actually accomplish. The first player did not kill me, and without that second player, would have received 0 WP, because while he did most of my HP in damage, he certainly didn't do something more valuable than the second player. He would have contributed nothing at all without that second player to get the kill.

I understand how it currently works and I am claiming that there is a problem with it. Let me explain a little bit about how the human psyche works. I'll use an analogy. Let's say you have been steadily employed for over a year at a job working 60 hours per week. Then you find out that your schoolmate, who just happens to work for the same employer and performs the exact same kind of work, makes as much money as you annually, but they only have to work 20 hours per week, leaving lots of time for them to play video games. You might experience feelings of indignation and complain to your boss that you're doing 3 times the amount of work for the same pay as your friend. When that happens, it is a feeling called inequality or injustice.
Now, you may have heard the phrase "Well, who said life was fair?" Life is not fair and there are many things that are unfair about Dust, but I suggest a more equitable payout of WP concerning kills because it's something that could potentially change. After all it is a world conceived and built by human beings with total control over how that world behaves.

If I shoot another merc, then I accomplished shooting that merc as opposed to hitting the ground or sky. Should I not be rewarded for my accomplishment? Currently, I am not being rewarded for all of my accomplishments.

In a setting where there are friendlies around (as when people fight in squads):
1. This disincintivizes people from firing first because the next person to fire may get the kill, rewarding them more than you.
2. This incentivizes people to wait until an opponent is nearly dead before they start firing on them in hopes of getting the max reward.
"Jim, are you going to shoot at them?"
"No, Django. I was waiting on you, so that I could finish him off for the kill."
In a one vs one setting, the incentive remains to strike first and go for the kill.
"I'm a gonna kill me the mutha f*cka"

The last bullet that hits gets the kill. However, if you do more than 50% of the damage you get an increasing amount of WP based on damage done while the guy who did less damage receives reduced WP payout.
For those who support team play this shouldn't bother you as it should not matter who got the kill or the better WP payout so long as it is fair, based on damage done, and the enemy dies.
Or you could go down the BF4 route with squad kills I guess. Of course this would have series issues with OB's.
You do not have to be crazy to play here but we are willing to train you.

Aaaaaaaactually, Call of Duty: World at War's multiplayer worked differently. You earned 10 points for a kill and got assist points based on how much damage you did. If you put him to crit and a team mate finished him, you got 8 points while the team mate got 10. The same goes for hitting him once and someone else killing him. You got 2 points whereas they got 10.
