There will be an extended server downtime tonight to fix a bug. Which one you might ask, we all have our favorites and most of them affect everyone of us. Well, it is the one about simultaneous attacks against a district causing a glitch. Wow.
CCP has known about this for months but it has not affected 99.9% of us. However a week ago a large corp. with a CPM in its lrsdership was negatively, and minorly, affected by it and they have been griping since then. The question though is why CCP chose yo act so swiftly once this became an issue for this corp. and CPM.
tThis same CPM and corp also complained about district locking and when CCP fixed it, guess who came out on top. The metagame is about who you know as much as what you know but is CCP frosting the donut?
? It sure looks suspicious.

DNS and Planetary Conquest can eat a **** and choke on it.
Meanwhile, I will be having fun solo'ing Domination pubs with my laz0r of doom... or so I tell myself right before I get protostomped by a bunch of protobears. Wouldn't even be that bad if there wasn't ADS and Tanks camped along the redline for miles in each direction. Alas, I am starting to get bitter again and a bit rage induced so I think it is time for another break from this game. |
