For Turrets we can see that each race will have at least two turret types based on the two types of damage
Caldari - Missiles, Railguns
Minmitar - Autocannon, Artillery/cannon
Amarr - Beam and Pulse Lasers
Gallente - Blaster and........
It seems that Gallente for some reason unbeknownst to us just randomly decided to not use Railgun Weaponry on the ground, or at least that's what CCP is hinting.
Blasters and Drones? Maybe if this was the year 2019 but it's not.
All in all, this is just another thread for me to ***** about why CCP decided to not give Gallente Railgun weaponry like in EVE and Early Days of DUST.

Yes please.
Seriously though, if we just had Drones I'd take this argument away....even if we just had AI sentry turrets to guard a locations I'd be okay with that. |

Yeah I saw that and I hope it sticks but that bonus is from a time when CCP had Hybrid weapons both Gallente and Caldari.
They changed all the other shared bonuses between Blasters and Rails, I suspect them to do the same once they have realized what they have done.
Although I will say this.
The small Rails operate more like Gallente type rails and Caldari rails could operate more like the Large Rails.
Small Rails (hopefully Gallente prototype) - Less Range, Lower Accuracy, Higher RoF, Less Damage, Better Tracking, Larger Magazine.
Large Rails (suspected bases for Caldari Rails) - Longer Range, Higher Accuracy, Slower RoF (lol), More Damage, Slower Tracking, smaller Magazine.
If Small Rails were Gallente Based and Large Rails were Caldari based that would make me feel a whole lot better and not feel like CCP just tossed well established lore out the window for the sake of DEV convenience |

You've got a point. Funny thing is since the inception of Vehicles we actually have LESS content now than we had back in the day.

I miss the Diversity we used to have.
What good even came out of this new vehicle system?
The only thing that happened is that they shifted this issues around and removed a ton of content from the game.
Literally the only positive that came from this vehicle change is the Ammo System. (which I thought would help my small blaster but apparently they gimped my babies again) |

Gallente in the lore are blaster/drone tech and Caldari are rail/missile tech. But just because they're both hybrid weapons doesn't mean they're viable for both.
