I'm a solo player because I like to play casually and would rather not listen to kids screaming, cats meowing, dogs barking, etc. over comms. The only things I could think of were: -eWar built CalScout with 2 precision enhancers, 2 shield extenders, 1 profile dampeners, 1 armor plate, and a cloak -eWar built GalScout with 2 precision enhancers, 1 profile dampener, 1 range amplifier, 2 armor plates, and a cloak -eWar/speed built MinScout with 2 precision enhancers, 1 shield extender, 1 profile dampener, 1 kincat, 1 plate, and a cloak -brick tanked GalLogi with 4 scanners

If you really want the best lonewolf suit and don't care what people think of you: CalScout, 4x complex shield extender, 1x dampener, 1x range amplifier, cloak, compact nanohive, weapons of choice. ~440 shields at 50 hp/s on a 3-4 second recharge delay with around 40m of scan radius = win. The one thing you have to watch out for is cloaked/Gal scouts, but just use your eyes and you should be OK. The problem with fitting for precision enhancement is that a cloaked GalScout with a single dampener is absolutely unscannable to you. A Gal Scout with 2 dampeners is unscannable without cloak. There's no counter for EHP, though. Nerdier than thou

There's no counter for EHP, though. What about for scanning other CalScouts? You can justify dropping one shield extender for a precision enhancer to pick up cloaked but undampened scouts. I've found that anything more than that is just not worth it- EHP is useful against all enemies, precision enhancers are only good against certain scout builds. I keep two types of suit around- one with 3x complex precision enhancers for when I've really just had it with cloakers, and the fit I suggested above for every other situation. I find HMGs and rifle commandos to be my most serious threats in most matches. Nerdier than thou

The concept of sneaking around and meleeing players to death seems feasible, but does it work in practice?
