You told tank variations were coming back soon, but marauders still out after 2 years, and enforcer is like 5 months.
its pretty annoying to have only STD Tanks in the game.

Honestly, right now it's pretty annoying to have STD tanks in the game at all, so... definitely a no on more powerful tanks while AV is still so weak.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

The small size of the maps, and the relatively small choice in effective AV make adding higher level tanks a bad idea for balance at the moment. Even the standard tanks we have at the moment make it pretty much essential to field tanks if the opposing team use them.
Personally I think all vehicles were added far too soon, but I know that there's nothing that will change the fact that they're in game already as CCP won't remove them as it would lead to mass qq from tankers and DS pilots.
Vehicles would make sense if the maps were big enough for them, if one tank in the hills couldn't pretty effectively snipe any suit out in the open on roughly half of the map. Or if there were more effective AV for infantry. Or maybe if the stationary turrets weren't destroyable as this would give infantry a tool they could use to kill tanks, whilst at the same time having the downsides of being stationary, giving away the position of anyone using them quite effectively and, of course, the fairly low tracking speed meaning that it's still possible for a tank to get out of sight.

Sure why not as long as proto forge guns can two shot std triple rep tanks with active hardeners on oh and they also make the rest of the AV range viable to kill tanks just ad quick... wait sounds bad? Well then no new hulls either...
