Probably not going to bother with Operation Origin.

The double cap is good, but only doubling SP gained from WP makes it one hell of a grind. The extra 5k isk for every kill is a nice little bump though. But my primary gripe is with an extra 50sp for every kill. That's nothing. A negligible amount. If you score 20 kills in a match that's 1000sp. WOW!!! That means the bonus SP cap is for 10,000 kills. A year into release and I only have about 50,000 kills. So CCP can't really be expecting me to do more than two months' worth of killing in one week, can they? I guess any event is better than none. But this is not exactly exciting. No.

I think he's talking about the Origin dropsuits that will double your kill rewards when used. I didn't mention them in the OP because unless you're someone who already buys Aur equipment, they're really not worth it for this event. No.

But it's not a different cap, that's for sure. Just helps people get there faster.

The cap is only doubled, meaning it's been raised to just 500,000. but the WP earned from each battle is also doubled, as well as kills reward double SP. it might take a smidge longer, but not much. I think you misunderstood the announcement. Also, in order to get the 10m ISK reward, you only need 2,000 kills, which I usually get if I'm active each day of the week. whatever though. to each his own, just.. before you make decisions like this, remember, check your math, and also, realize it's still free SP. personally, I'm wondering why they are giving us all this bonus SP the past month or two. In the past couple months, i've earned like.. an extra 3-5m SP or something. anyway, I could understand if your excuse was you're burnt out on this game, but with Fanfest so close, and new stuff sure to be announced, i'm glad I'll have over 3m SP saved up. :)
