I didn't really have a problem with Murder Taxis due to AV grenades being a viable counter against them. Well that, and the fact that I'd just ram them to death with my Limbus. 
Two AV grenades always took out my BPO LAV. But those Logi-LAVs... I only solo stopped those things a few times and it was forge gunning the driver out every time.
Gotta admit those kills were very satisfying. Like dispensing Gods judgment on douchebags.
