I honestly don't know how you can compare the two games, and DUST in a minute long preview would look just as good/better as well. DUST doesn't look crappy, it only gets that way when you play it and run into the bugs and imbalances. No one is playing Destiny, yet, so I kind of wish people would stop trying to make it the "DUST killer" that'll suck up all the DUST playerbase. I am glad that is not what Dust is. Amarr are the good guys.

SC won't have a sprawling economy as powerful as Eve's, won't have epic fleet fights of thousands of players in one star system, and its gameplay will be more instanced than open world which explains why you won't have epic fleet fights. In fact, I don't even think SC was ever meant to compete with Eve Online. Probably Eve Valkyrie though. I read an article about it in game informer and I was really unimpressed, its basically halo (I mean who doesn't think elites when you see those four arm dudes) and a but of borderlands which is fun co-op but so stupid PvP. This sniper was named, I kid you not, "the campers best friend" it cloaks you when you scope, if you shoot ammo it teleports to you and one shots everything, in a game where you can double jump teleport......yeaaaaaaaah F*** that.

Bungie has been working on it for 8 years? And has specifically designed it around optimizing for the PS3 and XBOX 360 along with launching for the PS4 and XBONE. But that is kinda where their plans stop the PVP component is very limited and from what interviews have said it is merely an after thought possibly content addition later... More proof why DUST 514 wasting anytime on a PVE aspect of the game to have to compete directly with titles like Destiny, Warframe, Defiance.. would take years of solid developing... CCP Builds PVP experiences with emotional investment. Until we make PVP work for everyone and Fix the inconsistent unfinished core game mechanics and Optimize the crap out of DUST.. This game will have a hard time standing out, Regardless of whose family it comes from.

Giger wet dream... not my idea of something I want to play. from what i remember of PS1 tho it was also slow progress. but you were able to compete on day 1, not as a rambo but you could join a firing line on a ridge or a tower fight and have a blast if you didn't have your sights on roleplaying as a hero, in planetside you are part of a war machine most of the time. thats definately not for everyone but i loved how i was just a small piece in the machine. i ended up using the starting terran rifle even after unlocking "better" stuff it was acurate as hell and i ended up a cloaker hunter which wasn't that skill point extensive or whatever the skill term their was. a light terran rifle was all the needed to kill a cloaker. i imagine that PS2 will be the same in that i don't have to grind to the top to enjoy myself. the action of PS1 enthralled me to where i wasn't playing the game just for the grind which is what dust has basically become. i have an enjoyable battles in dust but with the redline and 16 vs 16 is just a juvenille feel to it. i like fighting dust tanks but hate fighting their redline at the same time. it's so juvenile for tank to run to redline and me and my dropship to run to mine when things get bad, if the shoe fits i will wear it. u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll. forum warrior .189
