it could end up being the SWTOR of FPS...
way more hyped for planetside2, there's no gimmick just raw large scale pvp
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

yea possibly soon because employment just came thru, can fix my pos dell. anxious to see how it plays out on PlaySation4. i remember thinking in 2006 how great the Playstation3 and XBOX360 will be for online- man was i ever wrong. it's like they took a step backwards. i came from SW Battlefront on Playstation2 where they were modding it client side somehow to run 128 player battles so i expected then that Playstation3 would deliver more MMO than just MAG.. my life has been incomplete since 2006 when i quit playing Planetside1. Dust got me through some of that but i dont see it getting passed 16 vs 16 any time soon. the playstation 3 is just holding it back

from what i remember of PS1 tho it was also slow progress. but you were able to compete on day 1, not as a rambo but you could join a firing line on a ridge or a tower fight and have a blast if you didn't have your sights on roleplaying as a hero, in planetside you are part of a war machine most of the time. thats definately not for everyone but i loved how i was just a small piece in the machine. i ended up using the starting terran rifle even after unlocking "better" stuff it was acurate as hell and i ended up a cloaker hunter which wasn't that skill point extensive or whatever the skill term their was. a light terran rifle was all the needed to kill a cloaker. i imagine that PS2 will be the same in that i don't have to grind to the top to enjoy myself. the action of PS1 enthralled me to where i wasn't playing the game just for the grind which is what dust has basically become. i have an enjoyable battles in dust but with the redline and 16 vs 16 is just a juvenille feel to it. i like fighting dust tanks but hate fighting their redline at the same time. it's so juvenile for tank to run to redline and me and my dropship to run to mine when things get bad, if the shoe fits i will wear it.
