Class: Force Recon
Combat / Special Abilities:
Can use special cloak modules
Bonuses:
20% bonus to sensor dampener range
20% bonus to sight range per level
With its unique combination of speed, stealth, ECM and sight bonuses, the Force Recon dropship will be the mainstay of any mercenary army that wishes to maintain a strong ECM/ECCM presence on the battlefields of New Eden. Worried about whatGÇÖs hiding in that embankment just around the corner? How many cloaked enemies are waiting in ambush near that upcoming objective? Or, maybe that EW LAV on your team needs a little ECM support? Well, send in the Force Recon dropship to get the job done!

Pretty sure there was discussion back in beta about giving dropships the ability to cloak.
Ofcourse, we'd need Dropships that don't have weapons.. :D

I'm curious what sight range means. I'd how you'd fly if you were zoomed in all the time unless it just refers to fps view.
I don't know why theyre doing a cruiser role for a dropship when force recon should be with medium suits.
I have no idea what ccp's doing anymore if this is real.

If anything the caldari dropship would get cloaks as they produce them and shields seem better for the role. Seems like your going off of scouts for this which could kinda work, gal sneaky dropship and cal hunter killer dropship but I don't think logi dropships should be stealthy, they should be logistics with mcru's mobile supply depots reppers etc.
There should be a new class of dropship (if this were to be seriously talked about implementing) suited for the ewar role like a scout dropship. The cal scout dropship should be named the scorpion because  |

The equivalent of railguns on tanks.
Tanks have stuffs primarily for taking out other tanks. dropships should have weapons for taking out other dropships.
Right now, about the only way you can take out another dropship is by ramming. Ugh.
oh. and passive range modules useful for AIR TARGETS.
Having an aircraft without any kind of air-oriented radar is ludicrous.
