some people are partially color blind to specific colors. I have done this test a while back. the Dx said I have issues with red. In game i cannot see the red lettering on skill tree or fitting for the most part. It could be a physiological issue for a good percentage of players. |

Just let them kill you. They cried for a year to become OP. They are as bad as tankers. They will get nerfed into dust again.

color blind mode should be standard in all games tbh, that aside its not just a issue that can make it hard to notice a cloak because it makes your blend into the back ground your brain wont necessarily tell you that its there because its not changing.

It's impossible to get a colourblind mode that fits everyone though... I've got Deuteranopia (Red/Green blindness), but that's really just a broad category. I can see a few more shades than some, a few less (or in a wackier way) than others with the "same" version....
I did wonder when someone was going to bring this up though... I've personally only gone toe to toe with cloak scouts a couple of times, and one of those times he just vanished into my MD smoke, flanked me, and popped my skull for me. Next time i'm just going to run away...

Interestingly enough, in Killzone: Shadowfall there were requests for "Colorblind Mode". They added in said mode for various versions of color blindness. The devs for Killzone are pretty awesome about implementing a realistic help/change in the game (like how they put in a new class and original KZ weapons).
Dropships need a buff. This way they can stop derping everywhere . ;_;

Talk about hard to see. The text in EVE was murder up until about a couple of years ago when they finally provided some options and better font.
Also, the problem with the cloak is that it simply skews the game too much to a playstyle that is falling away from a combat oriented game toward arena, gladiator style engagments. I see cloaked scouts. I always play scouts. I use cloaks. I still don't like the cloak the way it is being implemented.
Cloak should be for movement between objectives and key areas. If you get near anyone else, even friendlies, or get shot it could deactivate. You still get the abilities you do now with it but with trickier mechanics when actually moving in to engage.

Cloaks within 30m are honestly just as easy to see as non-cloaked players unless your on a very bright map. The only thing wrong with cloaks is shotgun+cloak. |

The problem with that is map size, to where any random person could decloak you, especially in the most inappropriate situations.
I'm not entirely against the idea, but the current size isn't ideal for such a design. |
