Lose one of the Plates and put a Damage Mod in the High.
It's no less OP than anything else, and you'll save 80,000 ISK per fitting over gK.0

That's the complete opposite of what I'm trying to do.

I want to run proto because there is no point to saving isk. I don't need it and I'd rather have fun burning through everything I have. |

It really depends on who is on the other team. If there are no precision enhanced and/or properly damped suits on the other side, just drop all scout pretense and fit proto shield extenders, 2-3 enhanced plates, 1-2 proto reps, a basic cloak and proto hives. You're now a light assault that is faster than most, reps rapidly, can come back from near death experiences with your hives and play independently for an entire match without running out of ammo.

(Whatever you want for 4th slot) This seems like fun, but I don't have an ADV cloak nor a Toxin SMG. I'll give it a try though.
The Toxin is the same as the standard SMG so go with that. I run much the same, but change our the CR for the Duvolle, and use two complex damage mods instead of the shield extenders. I also use as scanner instead of the hives. When I run out of ammo, which happens frequently, the SMG is enough to see me safely back to the supply depots. |
