Aliens found in New Mexico desert.
I had an Intellivision, myself, but can confirm that this game was a fail of epic proportions.

Yea isn't that crazy? Since my youth, I thought it was just some rumor. But its actually true!! LOL! Yea that game sucked.
Ahhhh the days of Atari 2600, where you played a game called adventure. The avatar was square and your sword was an arrow.
And people complain about the difficulty of games now...back then developers just outright cheated you or didn't give you the most important information/map details to win the game.

Hate to be the cynical arse here, but how did they know where to dig? It must have been a pretty reliable source.
And if it was a reliable source, what kept them/it quiet all this time? Did people just not bother to research it.
In any case, that hoard is gonna go for millions on eBay.
No.

Reminds me of the video game ads you'd hear over the radio in Vice City:
Play Alien Anihilation!!! Where you smash the menacing green dots, deep in the heart of the mysterious RED SQUUUAAAAAARE!!!!!

Cause it was highly talked about but nobody could confirm it was true or at least, I think Atari denied the claims. Atari had so many made because they just new it was going to be a big seller because of the movie. The game was a utter mess. You should read about it, its an interesting story.

Lol, patronising much?
I'm asking why nobody could confirm until now? What changed?
No.
