Although I own one of these, I refrain from using it in dust but it appears some people do not.
I have a caldari Commando with 957 EHP, taken down by a BK42 - face to face , I never managed to fire my weapon before my suit was destroyed, My weapon was a RR.

Have you tried using it in DUST? The only turbo controller I ever owned was for N64, so I really don't know much about them. I've been told that they only work on semi-auto weapons. So the Scrambler Pistol & Scrambler Rifle are the big ones to use them on. Does it affect the burst fire weapons? Does it affect shotguns?
If it was the BK-42, that wasn't a turbo controller, there was probably some outside source of damage. Like a grenade or something. If turbo affects burst, it could have been the RS-90.
If you're taking damage from multiple sides, it won't always display the red flashes.
Either way, as infrequent as I see people actually stooping so low as to use a modded controller, something still needs to be done about it.

Definitely a BK used, and a turbo would still affect speed of shots, Turbo affect burst weapons most by removing the burst, well.....reduces the delay to non visible. single shot weapons also highly affected in the past, not sure about now but, it would become full-auto. not sure how shotguns would be affected. the single shot may be possible to remove.

It would be nice to know if coding was done to remove these controllers function from in game.
You do realize that the BK is a fully automatic weapon and would gain no advantage from a turbo controller.. But I do wounder about some people using the burst fire CR.
and he said unto them, "Bring ye all your trolls, that they shall feed".

Do you know you can increase or decrease the rate of fire on a programmable controller

But you can't bypass the in-game limit to the rate of fire of the weapon itself. If it is fully automatic then it is already firing at its max rpm.
As for the burst, if you try and use a turbo controller with it the max rpm you could manage would be consecutive bursts in a row, but not any faster than that. ADSing while doing consecutive bursts makes the barrel climb drastically, so I doubt a turbo with the burst would even be practical.

The ACR is very deadly in CQC and medium range, but unless it's killing you in 2 seconds from 100 meters away like the problematic 1.7 RR, then stop complaining.
The ACR is a light HMG, so treat it like one. Just don't get too close to it or outrange it with your rail rifle and you should be fine. Oh, and your commando suit has a big head, just saying. _____________________________________
HOWEVER
There is a trick to using the ACR that increases its DPS, but as far as I know hardly anyone uses it. It's my secret and I won't let it get out to the public. Other weapons have this feature too, but the high ROF of the ACR makes it more noticible.
