DUST Search - Jason Pearson's stance on PvE

There are no real pros to adding PvE to DUST 514, but numerous cons such as allowing new players to play in a relatively safe environment and not allowing us Veterans (the true champions of DUST) to stomp them into the ground. I mean think about it, we might even have to fight one another! How disastrous would that be?

Many of you know of the issues that plague PC and how a select few have taken it upon themselves to fix them, which might I add I applaud. Allowing us to attack eachother and spend ISK is a terrible idea, and having one group of players control all of Molden Heath is a wonderful thing.

If we end up allowing the new players to partake in PvE, we will have nobody but ourselves to stomp, and this is a negative effect on the true playerbase, well, the ones that matter. So I ask you all who have not decided on who to vote for yet, vote for Jason Pearson for a DUST 514 without a PvE, where we can maintain stomping scrubs into the ground and showing them how pitiful their real and virtual life is.

This is not being misguided and you know that. If it was, than how is PvE in Eve thriving so far? If you want to continue protostomping players in a lobby environment than Eve-style PvE missions can give you that chance. Eve players do it all the time by scanning down sites used by PvE mission runners and then look key wrecks that the mission runners need and force them to pay ISK (extortion) for that item so that the mission runner can complete the mission. Some missions in Eve require a certain item to be turned in to be completed within a certain time frame. If you want to continue protostomping players in a lobby environment than Eve-style PvE missions can give you that chance. PS: Sometimes, you can suicide gank mission runners if their ship happens to be blinged out enough to be worth it. Sorry, but PvE has no place in DUST.
