The correct way to use an Amarr Logi:
1. Fill it with uplinks 2. Drop them 3. Change to a proper suit at a supply depot |

lose bonus...
they kind of nerfed being able to do that. im unsure though if the uplink bonus stays if you swap to a different amarr logi loadout. |

Hadn't considered that you might lose the bonus even if you change to another ak.0 logi. If so, that sucks - three proto uplinks really screws up your fitting... |

Could certainly use some testing.
What happens when you die and... 1. You use the same exact loadout 2. You change to a different ak.0 loadout 3. You change to a different suit entirely
Also, what happens when you go to a supply depot and... 4. You use the same exact loadout 5. You change to a different ak.0 loadout 6. You change to a different suit entirely
Be good to know when using deployable equipment based suits like cal and amarr logi. |

I think it takes the bonus from your current suit. You should be able to drop uplinks then switch to another amarr logi fit and retain the bonus towards the uplinks. Not tested though.
I don't use stinky old amarr stuff but here's my fitting suggestions.
Basic AR No sidearm (don't need it) As many shield rechargers and regulators as you can fit. No equipment and no grenade.
It's unstoppable, trust me.

It's unstoppable, trust me. While you are a filthy heretic, you are correct that as long as the suit you're in is an Amarr logi, your uplinks will receive the bonus, even if they weren't dropped by an Amarr Logi.

I run a basic Amarr logi regularly (lvl 3 Amarr Logi skill) I use a laser rifle, toxin smg, basic rep, basic plate, enhanced dam mod and enhanced shield quantum drop uplinks and reg nanohives I use it on long range ambushes, and basically help the team move across the field using the laser rifle while maintaining spawn points for my team as we move across the field I typically make 700 on regular ambush, 1000+ on oms ambush with this fit and it only costs 15k Like I said, it's most effective on long and open maps, and would imagine it would fair well on certain domination maps. |

I'm pretty sure the bonuses stay intact until you spawn in with different gear. |

'Pretty sure'
I dunno... I do know that at some point throughout a battle my uplinks will lose their spawn bonus (uplinks I know are mine go from 5s to 11s) and I only use one loadout and have no other suits than ak.0.
So no... I don't think its quite that clear cut. |

I'm confused. If I drop links in a Min Scout suit then switch to an Amarr logi suit those links have the bonus? I thought it worked the other way, if I dropped them as a Amlogi then the bonus applied if I died and switched to another suit.
Because, that's why.

I don't have one fit. I have several, basically a start of match fit, middle match fit and late match fit. Not too original I put plates in the lows and extenders in the highs. RS-90 CR, SMG, locus grenades on all my fits. First fit is Uplinks, flux and p13. Middle is Rd and Ko nano, end is flux uplinks again and ADV nanite injector. I don't stay in my Alogi suit often though. I drop links then switch to something else when I can and I almost always start in my Min Scout suit, except in Ambush.
Because, that's why.

NOTE: Some skill limitations in the equipment area right now so only showing adv suit.
ADV Amar Logi:
HS: Enhanced Dmg Mod Complex Shields Adv Precision Enhancer
LS: Complex KinKat Complex Reactive Plate Complex Damp
LW: Adv Combat Rifle SA: Adv Spec. Flaylock (no PG)\ Nade: Adv Flux (help out heavies moving in by getting rid of shields first)
EQ: I have two variations. One with uplinks and one without, I just replace hives AND on some occasions I will run RE's if there is a lack of heavies: Adv Inj Adv Rep Adv HIves/compact hives/uplinks
This is what I run 100% of time. The kinkat helps me get away if the team is going down. I can come back and revive and rep the heavies and logis....sorry scouts if you clone out early but I like to protect the null. If you don't have 4 in electronics and engineering then you can sub the Complex KinKat with an enhanced. Trust me. The speed difference is huge for the A-Logi. The weapon choices are half b/c of utility costs (i.e. CPU/PG) and also b/c they have fantastic usage.

Hi! I run a pretty cheap logi fit that works great for me.
Standard Amarr Logi Suit
Weapons: Laser Rifle Scrambler Pistol Sleek Locus Grenade
Equipment: BDR-2 Repair Tool Militia Nanite Injector
Modules: Militia Light Damage Modifier Militia Shield Extender Militia Armor Repairer Militia Armor Plates
Also have another one for placing uplinks, but I usually only use that in the start of a game.
