Map: Impact Ridge with Communications Outpost and underground outer sockets
Location: At Charlie Objective in the underground socket with the CRU located one level above the objective.
Involved parties: Maken Tosch and this fellow named AQ09.
So there I am sporting that new Hack Farmer fit I mentioned earlier there I was running towards Charlie trying to hack the CRU when all of a sudden I got shot down by this guy that was hiding nearby with a cloak. After being violated by his SMG, I respawned at a nearby uplink I left hidden at a distance and started to go back to Charlie thinking "well, if this guy wants to defend that objective so badly then I'll make sure he works for it".
There I was entering the first lower floor passing my SMG hoping to catch the bastard while he's cloaked. After spending a good half minute searching for him his cloak finally gives out and I start chasing him. He was in a Minmatar scout suit just like me and sure enough he was fast to dodge most of my shots. After chasing him down towards the bottom floor and up the stairwell, we ended up exchanging gunfire when all of a sudden it seems like both of us ran out of ammo so we pulled out the knives and started dueling each other right there on the stairwell with him having the high ground. Multiple swipes were exchanged back and forth until about while later I finally killed him. But I wasn't able to stop him from respawning. Shortly after that I think I died to his SMG again.
I respawned wanting revenge and managed to follow him without him noticing (keep in mind I didn't have a cloak) and finally got his attention. With knives drawn under the pipes, AQ09 and I were dueling again. After practicing the dance of death with him he finally died. But I knew he will respawn shortly so I waited for him on the surface and now we meet again knives drawn out once more. The dance of death involved beautiful figure eights and eloquent 1-2-3 steps until I finally died to his knives just 5 seconds before the match ended with a victory for my team. Needless to say, the scannerinas would've been jealous at how we moved beautifully with our knives.
AQ09, I salute you and thank you for a fun duel. It's not that often I find an honorable ninja knifer on the field.

I usually start a knife fight and they switch to they're SG or SMG when their about to die.
Sidearm and Light Weapon Scout, I use 'em all.
SCP and IP user, watch out for that +60

Still remember my first knife fight with Draxus Prime. It was hilarious how outclassed I was, but I managed to get a few moves in on the battlefield itself (with knives, of course). Though there was that one time where he was falling down on me, and I sidestepped, allowing a neutron blaster to kill before he touched the ground...
Great, now I have to take them out again.

The same happened to me when I first tried NKs out. I thought I was going to have an honorable dual against a MinScout, only to have him blast me with his SMG after I'd gotten a hit in.

Tease a nonclack scout with the clack, then unclack with nova knives, and when he's ready for a duel, switch to CR.

This is why this game is great. The possibilities are truly endless and with some imagination and practice this game can be very fun. Great story! There is nothing better than hearing about honorable combat.
