I love my Caldari stuff, I run Caldari everything 90% of the time. Unfortunately I don't really see much point in running Caldari Vehicles instead of Gallente. It just doesn't seem survivable enough compared to the Gallente ones, I mean I get wrecked by proto swarms in a Gunnlogi, but a Madrugar doesn't have a problem. Usually when I'm flying my Python around I have to stay away from most AV, swarms especially hurt considering I fly so low to the ground all the time, but in an Incubus? I have no issue with Missiles really unless multiple proto swarms are hitting me.
I get a nerf was necessary for tanks, but Armor just feels so superior in everything except being able to use an extra damage mod and the ability to turn faster.
Anyone else feeling the same?

I mean armor has the ehp and the constant reps, whats competitive about that?
It is a little ridiculous, I felt 1.8 pushed the Caldari vehicles a little infront of the Gallente in all honesty, majority of other tanks I fought were shield tanks instead of armor heavy ones which is a massive change considering the fights before 1.8

As a Gunnlogi user myself I also feel the Madrugar is far superior of a tank and the triple rep maddy is silly atm.
There is a problem when it comes to damage mods, going in one area or the other, Apart from Nitro or a scanner, what else goes in a high for most Gallente Tankers, whereas Caldari Tanks can actually dual tank a little easier, perhaps passive damage mods in the lows? Or different kinds of things in the lows for us to use? Personally I'd rather see a regulator so I can decrease my shield delay.

The Incubus still beats the Python, atleast in terms of endurance, however I've been part of 3 man Pythons with Missiles and Damage mods, it's a terrifying thing
