The ready animation when switching to the weapon is different if you have just deployed equipment, or uplinks at least. The difference is, the barrel spins briefly when you bring the weapon up  |

Fire your side arm and then immediately switch to the PLC, same thing.
It's probably an animation bug as it happens with the HMG too.

Tested this. You can reload and then switch and it will still spin.

try the allotek plasma cannon to pump some fear and paranoia into you. the spinning barrel is black with a red dot pattern, so half the time you swing around you think "did i just see an enemy??" |
