Instead of just stacking armour and tanking a spot, the new age heavy can run the battlefield as an assault . Amarr and Gallente are the best at point protection, Caldari with the Forge, and Minmatar can move to the assault class when you stack Damage mods and Kin cats. They are all great suits, I have each at Proto and use them accordingly. To say that one heavy type is better than the other is to admit that you are limited as a player.
