Im quite sure alot of players had the pleasure to encounter him on ambush and got frustrated that they couldnt destroy his tank. Well there is 1 way which is allmost idiot proof to destroy his tank and im gonna share it with you guys now.
1. you will need a scout suit with proto swarms and a cloak 2. get a mate with a tank and as much HP as possible cause he will need it. 3. do not search for duna2002, he will come to your tank as soon he knows about it.
So far so good first off get your mate to call his tank in and then move it to open ground (blaster tank would be the best choice), you as the cloaked scout with the swarm launcher have to stay hidden as soon the tank battle starts you decloak and shot as many swarms at duna2002 as possible. This will cause so much damage that he gets easy destroyed without problems. This is a defensive strategic and the tanker should never go roaming and leave his AV scout behind just to find duna2002. Why? Cause the guy has maxed out his armor tank, uses a proto blaster and a damage mod on top of that to quickly destroy hostile tanks.
So why does this work like allmost every time? Simply because he is a angry russian and never, ever uses something else then his beloved blaster tank. That and he gets tunnel vision when he sees a hostile tank. In his mind he must destroy enemy vehicles regardless what happends. Funny enough though is you most likely wont kill his clone cause before his tank goes BOOM he jumps out, activates cloak on scout and runs off to hide.
Further notes: -the minions of duna might pick up AV too when his master tells them to do -he might get a minion to call in a 2nd tank to help him out -his minions might aswell get a assault dropship -when he dies more then 1 time he sits the rest of the game in corner cloaked

The only problem is that he'll be rolling with a homie every time, so you should really just use ambush spot since like you said he WILL come to you. Just choose a spot where you know exactly where he'll be coming from, and lay proximity explosives down and sit in ur tank with your damage modded railgun while watching the map. Otherwise ya just use a damage modded railgun while watching the map, get a perch and camp dey asses in most cases. The best thing though, is just getting a tanker wingman and sticking together with 2 tanks, that's always your best bet.
Your post is making me facepalm very hard right now.

Confirmed - This was the result of my most recent run in with duna.
Engaged him within 40-60 seconds of the round start. He abandoned a near full health tank and cloaked up within seconds of me engaging him. I saw a lot of enemy tanks throughout the round, but none of them were his - I'm guessing it was his squad mates. I'm assuming duna cloaked up and waited until game end, happy to have saved himself a death. I don't knock him, he's great at what he does. He created a very functional zerg corp which funds his desire to tank his way into the K/D record books. The bottom line though is that I don't have much respect for him as an "actual tanker" as his true skills lie in preserving clones rather than killing enemies or destroying tanks.
Just my two cents.
Oh, and if anyone was wondering... Yes, he sent me the "Join in my corp" message after the game.

Nah, not really.
I destroy his scrub ass blaster tanks on a regular basis, and I am a better tanker than he is. And he knows it, because after every single battle I **** his Maddy's he sends me a mail asking me to join his corp.
He only sends these mails to two kinds of players. One is the players who do very badly on the scoreboard and are members of an NPC Corp, because he assumes that they are noob players that won't know how to leave his corp when he assigns them roles, forcing them to stay and pay corp tax to him and fund his lame old blaster tank spambush routine.
The other are players that makes him crap his pants with fear, so he tries desperately to recruit them and have them on his side.
I've crushed him enough times to know that I belong to the latter category.

when I was signed off work for 2 weeks I could sign on ANY day at ANY point and duna would be in every single one of my matches, guaranteed he is online as you say 9 maybe 9-12 hours per day.
he always abandons his tank, he always has someone else with him i saw him get destroyed by a Soma blaster tank at the beginning of an ambush match once, he can NOT stand up to tankers.
in skirmish and domination he would most likely get destroyed, if ambush had more decent tankers in the EU timezone and server who duna somehow doesn't ever come up against then he would probably sit and snipe. |

I see two other ways of killing him:
Jihad Jeeping or Trapping him with 3 Tanks.
You could bait him with your tactic and then have one of the tanks come up behind him a complex and another one on the other side of the baited tank to attack him when he goes for the bait.

1. you will need a scout suit with proto swarms and a cloak 2. get a mate with a tank and as much HP as possible cause he will need it. 3. do not search for duna2002, he will come to your tank as soon he knows about it.
Further notes: -the minions of duna might pick up AV too when his master tells them to do -he might get a minion to call in a 2nd tank to help him out -his minions might aswell get a assault dropship -when he dies more then 1 time he sits the rest of the game in corner cloaked So, you're still complaining about tanks in ambush. Why CCP listens to people like you, I'll never know. If it was me, I'd keep handing you 3-month suspensions for spamming the forums. BATTLE COMMISION LAWN CHAIR AND POPCORN READY FOR DEPLOYMENT
