1: Kind of, seeing as how it's a new EP and all, I think they at least deserve a chance.
2: Oh the usual, PvE, Gun Customisation, revamped PC, new game modes, maps, that kind of thing.
3: Nope.

I look forward to the new cinematics for my videos, but other than that, I won't believe anything until it's actually on my PS3. I have no hopes or expectations this year, but I will be watching intently.

I just want a may 1st dust speech at 10:00 a.m. iceland time. I want this speech to outline a patch that includes an amarr and gallenete heavy weapon, minmatar and amarr vehicles, PVE and the market. I want them to announce the patch being deployed at downtime on may first.
Of course there is a saying

Nope.
Believable promises, reasonable timeframes, honesty. Oh, and either PVE, the player market or possibly vehicle parity :D
I'd like to next year. Which is horrifying, because it heavily implies that I will still be playing this game twelve months from now.

1. Considering the recent progress made with Dust 1.8 and CCP Saberwing mentioning that this year's Fanfest will be more focused on things that are more practical and reasonable when it comes to expectations, I might take their promises more seriously.
2. PVE, P2P trading, New game mode, better connectivity with Eve players, etc. Anything that doesn't remind me of what we already have.
3. Unfortunately no. I can't afford it.

I demand to know if the rumors about Dust 514 being a psychological torture experiment are true.
And if it isn't then tell me exactly what they are going to do to try to improve the new player experience and what they are going to do about pc 2.0 .

Yes. CPM comments and dev statements on current focus etc are the basis. No more conceptual stuff, realistic, practical etc seems the order of the day and the NPE is at the heart of it. Jenza said they were working on the things that made DUST sound cool back in the day. The progress of 1.8 has been a good indication for me personally.
Vehicle parity, heavy weapons parity, PvE, market 2.0/P2P trading.
Sadly not, went last year though and will be going next year 100%.

Seeing as even the promises they deliver on are still slightly disappointing why should anything they say at the massive ego boost that is fanfest be taken seriously?
Don't get me wrong, I love what they delivered in 1.8... its just... couldn't they actually finish the suit models? The difference between the new ones and the old is glaringly obvious

Yes I will be taking these promises seriously this year as Sabrewing has promised us already that CCP will be avoiding grandiose projections and deadlines and will be focusing on more simplistic and necessary aspects of gameplay. This will be an event I will subscribe to the HD Live Stream and spend some time watching and reviewing.
I wish I could have gone this year but time would not allow it for me. I do however have a mind to go next year though.

like to see weapons respec on 5/14 . lol and eve would move all clones for pc fights . market to atleast resell our stuff back to it at half cost . NEW FKN MAPS for petes sakes . eve to make our proto gear . WHERE THE HELLS MY MTAC lol balancing suits sp cost and skills as well as weapons . ton of stuff they could do but will it take 6 months for just 1 of the above ? the ppl from WOD should be moved to here to get this jumping like when there was 10k ppl online 14months ago. gear based matchs for sure . .. |
