The game has been unplayable for me for the last couple of days due to obscene amounts of lag. Has anyone else experienced this? |

YEs, mostly inside the large complexes though, If I stay out it's ok. Inside I get constant lag.

Don't Worry.
Its just the game that trolls sometimes.
I deleted the cache and 34 GB on my HDD, now no more lag.
it works on many systems just try it and post if you fixed the problem  |

I'll give it a try, but how do I delete the cache? As for HDD, I have 300 GB of free space so I doubt there's really anything I'd need to delete. |

I fixed my lag by switching to Oceania....
I don't know how that worked, but I'm getting a lot less latency issues as compared to playing on Automatic for server regions. |

Yes , yes , yes ... ^^^^ this crap all day .
I haven't been driving my vehicle's because of this . I just do not know where I am or where the enemy is because one second it's in one area , only to end up someplace else .
Didn't know they were working on teleportation and time manipulation .
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

Either CCP is working on something with the server which the might reveal at fanfest, or the server just can't handle the EVE and Dust 514 population.

You are not specifying whether you are talking about client lag or server lag.
The framerate lag or rubberbanding etc, that is.
On client lag, yes, I totally agree. The framerate drops are unbearable.
(My amateur speculation for the cause is that the cause is too complex geometry on buildings and too many flashy special effects)
Came back to Dust from a break and what did I find?
Cloakies with absolute invisibility which works in all situations.=(

I don't know if it was new to 1.8, but there appears to be a new billowy fog thing that rolls across the map now. It appears to be poorly optimized as the framerate drops steadily as the match goes on.
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.
