There is an effect that reduces your speed when you are hit by a weapon. No one wanted it, and no one likes it. It nullifies the mobility advantage of many suits, and it creates balance issues with many weapons; basically each round hitting slows down the target a bit, and high rate-of-fire weapons fire more rounds are fire more rounds at a given time internal, which makes the slow-down effect even higher. This gives the CR, aCR, HMG, and other high ROF weapons an extra (and unnecessary) advantage.
Get rid of it.

the only reason it is there is because hit detection is borked and the slow down is god awful band-aid

well seeing a scout can move at full sprint jump turn and shoot you in the head, sorry no hit slow down is fine the way it is.
or better yet it should go from hit slow down to hit knock you down hard and wind you, that way all the cloaked shotties will rage quit and new players won't be massacred as bad as they are.

Scouts are a completely separate balance issue, and using the slow-down as a balancing factor on scouts just creates new balance issues (high ROF weapons). Furthermore, scouts can also take advantage of the slow-down effect and be even more powerful against mediums and heavies.
I can't take your balance opinions seriously if your goal is to make others rage quit.

My HMG makes scouts (or any other suit in the game) move at the pace of a sloth in a tar pit that's dragging a 18 wheeler behind it with it's brakes on... So no, slow-mo effect remains as a bullshit effect

So no, slow-mo effect remains as a bullshit effect Mine does too, and when they have stopped moving altogether they pinwheel, to get extra backspin on the pinwheel the forward momentum should continue to move the player forward in the direction they were originally moving rather than stop them in their tracks, mobility should not be an issue while being shot, it gives the man with good aim and an automatic weapon too big of an advantage. What is really sad is that I never get to see the described effect (reduced movement) while using my FG. Splash doesn't seem to do the effect so in my mind it is a broken mechanic.

that is ok with you ??
but having it that if a burst of gun fire on you hits you should just be able to power through and continue to move at ridiculous speed??
so no leave the slow down effect... guess what getting hit with multiple rounds will slow you down, it should knock you down.
and most people rage quit because the game has honestly not progressed in 6 months and some would argue since 5/14.
the game has enough broken mechanics, this one is working as it should.
you get shot, you slow down. then usually die. |

i haven't really ever noticed anything like this.
the only thing i have noticed is getting killed by an hmg when ive already ran around the corner breaking the line of fire.
if there was a slow down effect then why has it been so freaking impossible to kill a guy moving in an extremely erratic way. im shooting an hmg at that. the guy is in my circle nearly the whole entire time. well within my optimal. how is he not dieing to the wall of lead?
mlt vets are eternal. they shall be the bane to proto scrubs everywhere...
