Ion Pistol is really bugged right now.
I can overheat from 1/4 charges that don't even deal full damage.
If you are going to charge, charge ALL THE WAY, and don't you dare miss.
It's really just a glorified finishing blow, although it also works really well for OHK'ing shotgun scouts who don't armor tank

It has been repeatedly insta-overheating as soon as I switch to it in the middle of a fight, sometimes before even pressing R1, sometimes with the first tap (NOT charge). Have had to take it off my fits for now. :^( |
