I solo ambush/domination more often than not, and won't back out once I've deployed. Some games are just horrendous. I'm used to them now, I know how to limit my losses, but new players? Jesus. It must infuriate them to get inaverdently q-synced to the Rainbow Effect et al for match after match.

I run solo 99% of the time. Having people watching your back is the ultimate crutch 
Plus, I play on a computer monitor (so no sound) and no headset means that most squads with the technical skill to be worth running with aren't interested in having me.

I do, mostly because I don't like having to listen to open mic's and random chit chat. Not that I don't use teamwork it's not hard to time a tank attack with another blueberry.

Solo, and it's a Corp not a Clan. This is not the late 90's and gaming is not a pre-teen steered identity crisis.
In gaming a Clan is an unofficial group of individuals wearing the same tag as a means to relate to each other.
In professional gaming, the term clan is phased out in favor of "Team", and "Clan" is looked down upon as a group of lesser renown that is not up to the standards of professional competition. Advertisers do not typically want a "Clan" wearing their logo.
When a game supplies the means to band together in an official capacity it will often give you a name from which you can work with. In some games, these are "Guilds". In the case of Dust, you have Corps and Alliances. You do not have clans, and you will never have clans. Outside of the game, you can have a clan, but that will be considered a separate entity to the one in the game.
I hope that has educated you and brought you up to speed on the modern era of gaming. You may of course continue to call it whatever you wish, but do know that basically everyone will think less of you. |

You took this to an entirely unnecessary level of stupid.
Clans, corps, guilds, teams, organization's, free companies, link shells are the same thing in every game.
There arent "special rules" that make each one different. The only difference between them are the names in which the game creators decided they would be referred to as. That is all. |
