Planetary Conquest is a game mode that rich corps own there is really no way a new corp or corps that don't have the kind of Isk in there corp banks maybe I'm wrong but if you are a corp that can tell me how Please.We were playing with a guy a while ago who had to look online to see how to say how much money his corp had it was quintillion.how does a corp like mine compete with that.
That's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 now he could be lying but who knows. |

Really though, right now, you probably aren't going to compete with them in PC. It's locked down by DNS. Hopefully CCP can figure out how to make it viable for everyone to play with the patch after FanFest. unfortunatelly, the 2 bil a day the DNS is earning will forever be theirs. It will then become a game of tactics because they WILL ALWAYS be running proto in PC matches.
Fortunately, you can still kill proto with militia

Lol, Some PC corps abused the system back when they Could lock up their district for cheap. Or they were just elite players. ^_^
But on the fact of guys that brag about money; There are a lot. Once I faced a tanker with the name Of "Djinn (something That I forgot)" who sent me mail afterward about how he was so rich and therefore could just pull in tank after tank after tank, lol

Our corp Northwind Alliance has been going for a year and two months we help our members with Isk when they are broke but we can't break 200 million we gave up on PC battles because it's to expensive to keep on attaching a district.most Mercs have more money then our corp does. |

I'm bad at math but I am going to try this.
if one corp owned all 245 districts...and were never attacked or won all their attack so that they were always making money on each district...and each district made 10,000,000 ISK per day, that corp would be making 2,450,000,000 ISK per day
For one corp to reach 1 trillion ISK, it would take rought 405 days.
The only conclusion I can possibly come to is that you were lied to and no corp has a quintillion of ISK as no corp even has a trillion of ISK.

make clone packs free. Attacking corps are already going to loose plenty of isk via protosuits etc without buying clone packs as well.
Free clone packs might encourage more fights. Hell use a free clone pack and use all BPO suits and just fight. |

well if CCP wants to be a real ass they could remove PC AND deduct ISK from the corps
so assuming they get 2,450,000,000 ISK per day CCP could just count how many days its been since DNS took control of all the district and deduct ISK from there haha

Nope as long you aquire the ISK legit without the uses of exploits then they wont take away anything. A different story would be if you would receive ISK for buying stuff from the market instead paying for it.

Economy is broken CCP has confirmed that and they have put a lot of resources to fix that. ( only DEV Z is working on the economy )
Everybody knows that PC is the main reason for broken economy.
Economy is what was supposed to bing balance to the other game mods ( pub,FW contracts).
ppl can make the math for themselves a clone coast so much ISK a district is producing so much clones. I know that PC corps have monthly/weekly paychecks for the members. The amount depends on KDR,WP etcGǪ. |

From what I understand, the ISK created from the use of BPOs in pubs injects far more ISK into the economy than does PC. Admittedly, PC injects that directly into the hands of a few, but really, there are plenty of people who have obscene quantities of ISK without ever playing PC.

there is a lot wrong with how PC works atm. for the larger corps/alliances now they make so much isk from their districts they can just run any other attacker intot the ground with constant attacks. just as in EVE all the old alliances hold all null sec the same is with DUST and the guys who got there first take it all until another 'BoB' happens. there needs to be some kinda system where cost is incremental the more districts you own so it becomes essential to pick and choose the right districts/planets to hold so as not to waste money. as it is atm there are perhaps 3 corp/alliances just fighting amongst themselves. somehting which if they don't keep forcing new players away with proto stomps is all DUST will soon become as more and more peopel get bored and leave. leaving them to be rulers over a dead game

Sadly BPO ISK generation is like quadruple... And New player creation and biomassing equates to the same isk generation as PC At the max ISK earning potential... With no Proto suit/vehicle losses or clone losses ever.
I don't think there is one Old PC Merc that hasn't invested at least 100 million ISK of their own wallet into their corporation when PC launched or when starting a new corporation entity to begin PC. A majority as in over 51% of Mercenaries have invested almost as much ISK into PC as they have ever got out. Corporations as well.
Most people would be surprised how MUCH of a ISK Sink PC actually is compared to the ISK generated.
Where as BPO's not only hurt the economy but ruin the game experience for everyone involved as players hurt their team coming with inferior Gear on purpose and often care less about their clone then one who has invested into the DUST process, also hurting the combined chance of removing proto players off the battle field with better team opposition.
I don't even know where to start with people who literally make a character or 10? everyday to transfer 250k ISK off to their main... I Guess playing the game is to hard?
I Made my first 30 million using STD and ADV suits. I trained my skill points and personal abilities in an ADV suit against Proto gear players to get better and test my abilities. After I got my Proto-type gear and had 30 million saved I switched full time and have been making profit from public matches ever since running it full time. Sometimes I take a loss and sometimes I don't, like always in DUST.
-This is the general story for almost any Mercenary running Proto-type gear most of the time in public matches. Most players in Majority(That over 51%?) that are wearing proto-type in Public matches, don't or haven't really played PC much..
But I Guess "Everybody Knows" ? |
