Just over 6 sprint speed and you can pretty much sprint nonstop. The Burst HMG provides enough alpha damage to completely shred most suits in one burst. Against other heavies it takes some practice and if you don't get a full burst on target right off the bat you could be in trouble.

Sprint mods on heavies were never really my thing- I prefer higher base movement speed from them.
I'm from the weird side of the internet

I'm a recent convert to heavy and I'd spent the previous 2-3 months as a Min Scout with a combat rifle so it was kind of natural for me to do it.

Well, um, I place Reactives on my STD gallente heavies (both the Sentinel and the Commando) so I'm not slow, but I'm not fast.
I don't mind the Commando G-1 with their speed since their not super slow like the Sentinels.
My fits are: Commando G-1
AR / GEK Plasma Cannon / CRG-3
2 enhanced reactive plates
Compact Nanohive
Sentinel G-1
HMG Ion Pistol
1 ENH Armor 1 ENH Repper
1 STD shield Energizer
M-1 Locus
I'm fairly new to heavies, but I loved the Commando and can't wait to get the advanced one.

Wow, just over 6 m/s sprint? So fast.
Meanwhile my Minmatar M/1 Sentinel sprints at 7.44 m/s. Don't even need the CardReg due to the Minmatar Sentinel's amazing base Stamina Regen.
And why a C-7 Flux? The standard already does 1200 Shield damage, enough to wipe out any infantry's shields. It's not like you're fighting tanks with that fit either, so the extra damage the C-7 does isn't really worth it over the standard flux.

Do you even speed heavy?
You either go Minmatar basic heavy with 2x complex kin cats and a running speed of 7.71m/s or you are not even trying!

Not a bad fit, join us Minmatar Heavy.
" The Cannon Ball " await you.
Also the burst is a really good weapon for pubs, once the framer rate drop is sad to see 1-2 of the 4 burst available (till overheat) pass through target unregistered
