There are times when I'm running with my squad and using comms we often have to say things like:
"whichever greenberry is in the hill, you have someone trying to flank you".
Sometimes these statements get confusing when we have more than one person on a hill and at different locations of the map. It would be useful to always see the names of our own squadmates, even when we're not targeting them so we can be more efficient in relaying information.
This is especially true when trying to warn our own vehicle team. Most all of the time our own squad vehicle appears blue and not green.
"Tank coming up behind you!!" "...that's not me."

Lets take this an extra step and make a small bubble or something pop above someone's head when they are talking. It pisses me off when I get randoms who jump into my open sqaud and start talking and I'm wondering who the hell is annoying me now!

Personally I'm ok without the bubble only because retail space on the screen is already precious. However, it would better instead of popping over their heads to just have text near the top of the screen (like the you have been scanned message) to say 'so and so is talking'.

No guys i clean screen. No more icons and laters. If you aim on him you see his name already. Nice would be to see numbers for squad members when you open map. Nr.1 for SL etc... |

Which is oh so helpful to aim at a greenberry on a hill hidden by the hill so I don't get his name. I would rather not sit still and be vulnerable to everyone to look at a map to say 'hey 3, you're getting flank-oh, too late.'

First off I need to ask? Lee when did you start doing the forums you have 744 likes?
And yea that would be good because if your like me and don't run with a mic and someone if trying to tell you something You have no idea who is talking. Also I getcalled a blueberry a lot when im in a tank because for some reason im blue.
Another thing they might add could be a symbol or something to indicate if a blueberry is in your Corp or contacts because if your Q-syncing and you could be standing right beside your CEO and have no idea (that's happened to me before)

About a month prior to joining KOE. I was looking to get involved with a corp and the forum seemed the best way to start my search.

Almost all of the time i play with randoms squads, so for my play style, the always naming is not to go, on/off option for that == everyone happy.

I also play with randoms on occasion so an on/off feature is a great idea.

Wouldn't it be simpler to have your name instead? Rather than remember whose tag is whose when trying to inform someone of their imminent death. For those who want to conserve space on their screen, perhaps names could be abbreviated to an extend? Such as: Temias Merc. Anyone who might have a long name would of course be shortened; therefore, will not take up as much room. Rather than have names displayed at all times, it may be better to only display them when you're facing their general direction. They would show up through the entire map, through walls, terrain, and etc. To aim directly at them is just too much a hassle, and often gets the informer and soon to be victim killed. |

In the instance that someone disconnects from the game, squadmates would be assigned new numbers, causing needless confusion and wasted time identifying who's who.
