So after 3 CBR7 (with a damage mod) volleys, 2 remote explosives and 2 EX-0 AV grenades the tank I am trying to kill blows my face off and as I write this post is still wrecking havoc in my match. Oh and it's a Soma by the way.

Try taking on a rep stacked ADS with swarms. Spent 5 minutes fighting him while they just hover there laughing, repping to full between swarms. Only to rocket to the flight ceiling once some more AV shows up. |

LOL it's not a Soma. After the hardener nerf, a MLT tank can't take that.
And you're probably using Darkside CBR7s with a basic damage mod. Those REs probably weren't actually put on the tank, but on the ground while it was rolling away.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

You guys do know CCP re-buffed everything to day 1 1.8 days... Right?
Minja Mk.0 LP has 3 equips again.
LP commando AK.0 has 3 weapon slots.
Hardeners are 60/40 again.
Thankfully rails are still 300m.

What's "fun" about AV is that if you have LOS on a tank so you an lock your SL on him, he has LOS on you and can instantly shoot is blaster at you, effectively negating your ability to lock on and making him, in effect, unkillable.

I have Prof 5 on swarms and use wyrkomi and i can't even fight a Soma... LOLCBR is like scarecrow which kids are scared off and lolTankers are not

Lol really? These were isk cbr7s with a complex damage mods and the res were placed on the back of the tank where the soft spot is.

I use the cbrs because I keep my av suit cheap. But it surprises me that after pulling out all my guns that bastard still lived.

Never use CBR-7s and CFG-112s.
They aren't even good against LAVs.

Yes, you must sneak up close to them prior to your attack so that they can't swing their cannon around quickly enough and are forced to flee as you finish them off with CBR7

The hot fix they applied 2 days ago unfixed some of their previous hot fixes 
So shield hardeners are un-nerfed again now.

But they dont really cost more. Maybe a full proto tank, but most mlt adv costs less than AV.
Also if one guy cannot spec into AV and kill a tank (the whole purpose for AV,) whats the point in speccing AV?
Just drive a tank, at least yoj dont have to worry about infantry then...

Because there has always been a weapon soldiers can use to pop tanks often times a weapon that 1 soldier can carry and use. There are even guided versions out there now where a soldier can engage tanks at great range fire off a small missile and forget about it the missile guides itself to the tank and pop's it. |
