I was an Amarr loyalist in EVE and I could only fly Amarr ships and use energy turrets even up through the carrier. Then when I ran out of things to skill into and/or getting those few skills up to 5 proved to be too time consuming for little improvement, I then went heavily into Caldari and even some Minmatar because I thought some of their ships were cool (that Maelstrom though, sexy).
I've never flown a Gallente ship to this day except once, because I was doing a favor for a friend's friend of moving it out of a wormhole. I also had to get up some Gallente cruiser levels so I'd get some free level 5s in battlecruisers and destroyers when they split those two skills into racial skills.

I didn't do as much praying as I did fighting for the Empress.
My standings with the Imperial Navy were the highest and almost at or near max standing, don't remember anymore. I grinded so many level 4 security missions for the Imperial Navy that there shouldn't be any more pirates or Matari left.
I'll make sure to give my EVE pilot a call to escort us to the cathedral  (Whenever he decides to wake up from suspended animation, that is)

Never really got into EVE as much as Dust.... as much as I like EVE.... I would probably have to restart a new toon to enjoy it properly.

Waiting for the giant laser beam (mounted on a tank which I WILL call "SHARK LASER"), so I can laugh maniacally as I vaporize infantry.
Oh sweet glory of watching my enemies turned into plasma. Laughs will be had so much I'll need to keep the cover off my asthma inhaler so I can use it constantly.

With the way tank V tank is now, Minmatar tanks are going to be useless, while the turret will be bitched about non-stop.
Equal damage to armor and shields.
Doesn't have the total HP to tank even 1 damage modded railgun shot.
Speed will be only slightly faster than a maddy.
So... Yay? Amarr tanks will be even more ******. Too slow to dodge rails from god-knows-where, not enough HP to tank even 1 extra shot.
Rails need to be straight up nerfed. I suggest 200-300 damage nerf and a RoF nerf.
Blasters need to deal full damage to vehicles. They're gallente's AV turret.(unless you give us plasma cannon turrets, and at that i Lol)
We need ammo types. Amarr might be less effective at dispatching high resistance armors, but they need to be able to trade DPS for anti-armor capability(scorch crystal, or was it conflagrate?)
Minmatar needs EMP rounds, Nuclear rounds, Titanium Sabot, Barrage.
We NEED these things. You should be able to run a Gallente tank and not have to swap to a railgun to engage a tank in CQC and expect to win.

Even with a RoF nerf, they still do 1.6k unmodded, 3.5k potential. It's ridiculous that a blaster turret dies to a railgun in CQC when you did everything right.
They need AT LEAST a 20% reduction in damage.
I can live with the RoF, as that's not even the problem. 2 shots will be 2 shots.

Blasters for AV? Yeah right; they are the best for AI and they will always remain easy to use for AI so they should be the worst at AV.
Balancing the Large Turrets
We need ammo for everything. Give me EMP missiles so I can switch between EMP and explosive to take out shield and armor vehicles with my missile turret.
