nope, there's nothing wrong with you. i too have gotten bored with this patch, and to be honest this game overall.

the main reason i skilled into scouts is because it was much harder than the other roles. i spent an entire year training myself to one day become one of the best scouts in DUST 514. i'd like to think i at least somewhat achieved that goal, but what does it matter now? all that work that i put into mastering one of the hardest roles in the game means nothing, because scouts are easy mode now. it's not special to be very good as a scout anymore, because it's TOO DAMN EASY NOW.

i don't know what to tell you man. i guess just keep trucking along and hopefully it will get better.

I just get suicide derped.
Guy just crashes a Derpie into me(incubus nonetheless) and then calls in a LAV to get where he wants.

If i call another in, he'll slam ANOTHER incubus into my ass.

I ran a match yesterday, statistically, i should've done quite well.

I didn't like it. So much so i quit and played 3 hours of minecraft(for the record, i don't actually like it. It's just a relaxing game to build stuff up- until 4 creepers blow up simultaneously)

I died ONLY to shotty scouts 2 shotting me before i turned around.
I think maybe 2 deaths were from Magsecs slapping be around corners.

It's frustrating, and it's upsetting that it frustrates me i want to love DUST, i want to play it, and claim i'm a specialist in something, but my fun(commandos) is ruined by scouts with teleporting R/E's, shotties with cloaks 2 shotting me before my own shotty can hit them, and Dropships FALLING FROM THE SKY just to squish me.

I need other specialties to handle these threats:
Wanna run AV, but a single scout is hunting you exclusively? Spawn in an HMG heavy.
Wanna hack a point, but nobody has spawns? Bring your own.
Wanna get rid of that sniper sitting, keeping you away from a hack point? Bring your own sniper, spend 3/4 od the match finding him, and KILL HIM.

Is this regnyums alt? ohh nvm. Regnyum would have gone 45/3 and complained. But its okay, most good players are competitive perfectionists. I can feel bothered by not having 0 death games. I am always constantly analyzing the battlefield and the map, player positions, where they are facing/headed. Calculating things in my head... In other words competitive perfectionists = strategists.



Run with a squad... I consider myself a jack of all trades and I can play any of these roles. Being good in multiple roles helps keep the game from getting boring. Most of my friends are not blueberries so matches always tend to be great.

I was in a squad.
Albeit 2 were "scouts" complaining about flaylocks.
But scouts.

This just came from one of the best scouts in game...

I love that everyone defends the cloaky scout by saying, its not OP, i ran scout before 1.7 and did "really good."

The truth of the matter is, there were only a handful of "really good" scouts in 1.7, and the ones defending the crutch are not it.
