I know I have terribly bad gungame most of the time but... I think I found what I'm good at, being the coward killing you at range, yay!
EDIT: got killed by 2 orbitals :(

Anyone care to tell me if I should use 2 plates on those low slots or 1 plate and 1 repper?

It's a simple matter of math. A basic plate provides 85 HP, a basic repper provides 2 hp/s. If you survive with damaged armor for 43 seconds, the repper is more valuable than the plate. Less than 43 seconds, the plate is more valuable. Well the thing is, I got shot down to around 110 armor a few times by a single guy in my test matches, sometimes even slightly less than 110 and since I'm using 2 enchanced plates that means I would have died because at skill level 3 it gives me a total of 117 armor I believe per plate. Then again if I don't let that happen it seems to be more important, I guess I really just gotta test it and find out.

The hit a lot harder than they use to .
I'm noticing the difference in all the weapons since the change in 1.8 and I believe that weapons seem a lot better .
The differences are very noticeable now when before , I use to die so fast that I couldn't gage the actual effect of the weapon .
Now if they can fix the FG bug and hit detection for sniper rifle's then , everything would be fine .
Your making me want to speck into them now .
Looks like you had some fun there . I had a lot of fun indeed but it's really hard to track speed tanking scouts that are running in the distance, and it takes a few seconds to kill heavies in which time they usually get to cover. But all in all it's very fun, just don't expect to kill anyone easily at close range. Seems to be around 75-105 meters where it excels at. But I'm sure the actual ranges are available somewhere.

Smooth Assassin wrote:Killed by orbitals? = classic camping. I was actually moving around the whole time but it was Domination on Fracture Road, if I was camping I would not have died, you know, on that map the camping spot is immune to orbitals.

If you've got the nanohive skills, rep hives are a good option, especially for suppression fighting like the LR excels at. Personally, when I use armor tanked suits, I like to roll with basic plates, one reactive plate so that I have at least a tiny amount of reps built in, and bring K17/D or Allotek hives. Yeah, I'm using K17/D, gonna be a loooong, long time till I get to proto hives since it's an alt with only like 2.7M SP.
