It seems to me that other than getting a passport and travelling to FanFest yourself, there is no real way to get the info from it or participate in it. With Eve Online, they can buy live stream footage with PLEX. At least that's the way it was last year. But mercs have no option of this. They have to wait for the YouTube videos to come out or CCP to link the videos soonGäó after FanFest is over with. Will you include a way for us Dust mercs to participate in FanFest without the need to travel to Iceland just as you have given this option to the Eve Online players? Any dev input on this would be appreciated!  |

You can watch the stream for free.
The HD stream is what costs money, and there are typically bonuses involved if you decide to purchase the right to it. |

actully you only need to buy the hd stream. the normal stream is fine. and well i wont be buying the hd stream this year as last year it was ******* awful and i had to switch back to low res just so it would stop skipping.
skills are not being applied till 30 secs after spawn fixes before nerfs thank you.

As said the HD stream is the one you purchase, standard definition is free and usually on Twitch if memory serves.
I'm going to Fanfest and I'll be tweeting throughout the day on #dust514 with snippets of info that gets mentioned in the round tables.
I'm also planning to do a daily update on my blog at the end of each day of Fanfest (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and likely on the days I'm there in Reykjavik beforehand.

There will be plenty of updates both on forum, twitter, reddit, facebook and blogs with stuff that comes out of FanFest, it has been like that every year so even if you happen to miss the free (or paid) stream you won't be in the dark for long.
