Me too, I just got 20 Thale's sniper rifle from killing this sniper who was camping near my drop uplink so I went up to him and killed him and run and I realized that he had a uplink near his camping spot so I came back and kept killing him. Snipers say they will pay me 500,000 for all of my Thale's cuz they are meta level 10 best type of sniper so if the player market eventually open then we can get useful items.

This has been brought up since closed beta.
However, the community and CCP felt that the secondary market needs to be carefully done right considering the fact that Dust's future economy will also merge with Eve Online's economy which is a monster of an economy to begin with. In fact, Eve Online's economy is ranked really high up in the MMO communities. It even competes with WoW's and GW2's economies. Therefore CCP needs to take careful steps to ensure Eve's economy is not hurt during the initial merger once it happens.

that actually makes alot of sense, eves market in regards to sheer size and spectrum of spread out hubs within eved makes its difficult to say where dusts items would fit in to that market it would probably need to be a market of its own |

This is going to be the big thing with the player market releases. Those Thale's rifles, Kurenai, are going to make you lots of money once they get there. Also, Kurenai, Thale's rifles are worth a couple MILLION ISK each. Please don't sell them all for 500,000 ISK. The guy who offered that is ripping you off.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate

^ What he said. Unlike other officer gear (which may/may not require you to get within range of return firing) Thales have a great staying power. Players who buy these would view them closer to a long term investment than deposable items, so they will pay 1mil easily or more.

There is also industry for Dust to consider which that alone will throw in an extra layer of depth to the game. Just remember that war in New Eden is driven by the economy and war drives the economy in return. It's a ying yang thing they have with each other. Powerful corps will aim to control the economy in pursuit of the wealth and leverage it provides with military might while the economy takes advantage of military conquests due to demand for resources and other commodities needed to achieve that.
To quote Senator Armstrong from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance...
"A little war can do wonders!"
PVP in an FPS setting will never be the same again.
