They totally didn't fix the problem. Tanks are still far too good in Ambush. If anything, the changes made it worse, because all it takes is for a few idiots on a team to call in anything other than tanks, and that team loses. So far nothing has disproven this hypothesis.
I've been testing on an alt with a basic triple-rep nitro dmod blaster maddy. Last five games: 22/0, 26/0, 19/0, 10/0, 17/0. I laugh at infantry AV, nitros make it easy to beat the tracking of a rail tank, and other blaster tanks can't break the stacked reps/damage mod combo.

The problem is that it should be a tank limit, not a vehicle limit. Jihad jeeps and dropships to high places cant be used with the 2 limit max on all vehicles.

you're in a tank that can outheal anything short of an extremely specialized fit hitting a tiny portion of your armor multiple times, which guess what, you run from after the very first hit because CCP in their infinite wisdom decided tanks should be the hardest hitting, fastest, and easiest to skill into(well, you don't even really need to skill into them to get 90% effectiveness.) thing on the field.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

It's true. I literally just sit there and tank anything other than a maxed out IAFG. If I ever get in trouble, I can nitro away faster than a LAV. Also, I can lose one of these tanks every ambush and still make a comfortable profit of 50-100k per game. It's dumb... just dumb. I'm not even good at tanking and I have literally died once in the last 10 games, raking in an average of 20 kills. Triple rep maddies are gamebreaking.

2nd, cap on vehicles should be per vehicle per team, not just per team. 1-2 tanks, 2 ds, 2 lav.

Its easier to dodge 2 tanks then it is with 6 and derpships flying around. And if anything the AV was not coordinated or low lvl. There is allmost nothing that can survive when 2-3 scouts decloak with swarm launchers.

reliable yes, effective no. the forge is more difficult to use(due to CCP being incompetent) but far more rewarding in a "YEAH! YOU BETTER RUN COWARD!" kind of way. they're still just going to run and come back in 10 seconds or less unless there are 5 of you coordinating shots to kill them, though.
