Thanks, was just curious if there was something more to it beyond failing to pop the tank before the driver gets out.

I've been a scout using the shotgun throughout Chrome and Uprising, so I honestly don't care if I get called a FoTM scrub. In fact out of courtesy, I decloak before I even engage my enemies with my shotgun. I never asked for the broken mechanic of getting a few shots before decloaking (which imo, is really the only thing that needs to get fixed). I use the cloak because my scout has a fitting bonus towards the cloak, so I might as well take advantage of it. Can you really still call me a coward because the scout shotgun combo is what I was using throughout my entire DUST career?

I dont think you heavy LAV drivers get it. Its not the fact that you use a vehicle to circumvent the only weakness a heavy has (its mobility,) its thay when you get beat at your own game, you jump back in a drive away with a ******** of your armor left. Heavy in a LAV is a scrubby tactic because CCP allows you to instantly teleport back into a 1000hp safety box.
Same with snipers, cus you know, fighting against enemies you cant reach is awesome.
Inb4 - but u can countersnipe?!?!
Fix lav teleportation and the redline and no one will complain
Yeah, i run an Amarr logi with a mass driver.. what are YOU going to do about it?

Proto gallogis with brick tank suits and proto combat rifles spawn camping spamming REs down from a roof while sitting on 50 armor repping nanohives. Then if he might die, he pulls out his heavy suit and starts slaying everyone with a proto blaster Maddy, and insta-teleporting out of the HAV to kill anyone getting even mildly close to doing any actual harm. And IF that fails, he pulls out his cloaked shotgun scout and brick tanks it to hell, calling an OB on a single person who was hacking a far point just for laughs.
And finally, he AFKs in the MCC if ge gets killed again and/or pulls out a proto sniper rifle.
