I want people to tell me how they feel about this update. My opinion of the cloak field and the pistols were good but I don't like the fact that the only role that was getting positive impacts were scouts and HAVs. Havs are now harder to kill and scouts you can't even see them and they used to be ninjas but now they're invisible. They nerfed guns. |

Overall it was a great update. Scouts needed the clock and its awesome. Bugs and unbalanced new stuff is excusable. But bugs and glitches on old items are frustrating. Like most people i believe we want to see more improvement on existing things. |

We're not supposed to post entire lists of feedback. There is an announcement about that in this section. I'm doing it anyway, though.
Nanohives were nerfed too much. Their capacity is just too low to be helpful if they are not prototype. I have never used a scanner. The other equipment is in an okay place.
The scrambler pistol was nerfed too much, and the new pistols should also be more powerful. I am depressed because I play as Amarr Logistics, and now my sidearm slot is not worth it.
I don't have a problem with scouts being invisible, but cloaks' profile dampening Is too much. Also they have more slots and PG and CPU than before, but I don't think that they needed it, this coming from first-hand experience. Also the Amarr scouts were robbed of a useful bonus.
I don't mind fewer grenades, except for the AV grenades. I think now AV grenades should become more powerful.
Overall, there was nothing that I liked about this update, and a few things that I disliked. The worst thing about this update was the scrambler pistol nerf.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

HAV's are not harder to kill . You people need to stop lying because game play will tell differently so players who actually use their eyes and brains will see threw your lies .
1.8 should have had a full infantry refund . Roles now have a racial bonus instead of role bonuses , equipment has changed and now doesn't perform to it's maximum unless your a Logi and this might be rightfully so but now it depends on what Logi and which equipment you prefer . New weapons , and a change to damage mod's and the damage that a weapon has on it's target .. if it's armor or shield based , slot changes for suits and many other changes just garnered a full infantry refund .
The rich get richer and the poor have to fight that much harder , which I don't mind a fight but if I could have redistributed my SP's back into the area's that I feel would have strengthen my role and me as a player ... would have given myself and many others a fair shot instead of having SP's locked into useless items .
Keep beating your chests and chanting how harsh new eden is while players bolt to other games , which I know that the bulk of you just do not care .
Hell CCP showed that they don't .
The longer I play the more bored I feel about this crap as well as the forums .
Same ole $h!T with players arguing over the same ole stuff . Nothing changes nether does it seem like any one fights for the rights and fairness of the people who play this game , just in it for self and what the self can gain .
No U kant haz mi ISK's .
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

Cloaky scouts are not completely invisible. If you have at least "OK" eyesight then you can spot a cloaky from 100m away like I did. Just stand still quickly glance at the scenery for anything that looks suspiciously ghostly. This trick helped me a lot. Cloakies also give out a shimmer when they move at all. The shimmer makes them even more apparent in dark areas and the targeting reticule turns red when they happen to cross the sights of your gun. Shooting them even while they're cloaked will kill them.
Another idea is to spec into caldari scout and you will see everyone including a fully cloaked scout through a wall without having to even look at them. The only suit that evade this is the Gallente scout.
Also, heavies and commandos are making a huge comeback.
