CCP has shown us what is the correct weapon to use with each assault suit, using the racial combat packs!
Caldari - Caldari Assault + RR
Minmatar - Minmatar Assault + CR
Amarr - Amarr Assault + SCR
Gallente - Gallente Assault + Plasma Cannon
Now seriously CCP, can I have a damn AR like the rest instead of including a PLC like a sick joke?
Out of all the Gallente weapons you could pick, you pick this?

People actually buy those packs?
I can understand BPOs and SP Boosters, but consumable items for Aurum seems like a giant waste of money.

I was in a battle with him the other day but then "Funkmaster Whale has left the battle" lol
also my friend buys those simply because he doesn't have a lot of isk. doesn't it come with a few hundred proto suits and stuff? seems worth it if you can't be bothered to make some isk. :P

Comes with a hundred proto suits.
Thing is, it ends up being more expensive than just buying them from the market. (Calculating the price per suit)
However, if you include the PLC, it ends up being quite worth it Aurum wise, but the PLC is so bad that I don't include it.

If the Plasma Mortar ends up being the Gallente heavy weapon I'll be using it. Doesn't matter if it has an eight second reload between every shot. The lulz will be worth it.

Yeh and the projectile will stay in the air for a whooping 10 secs. Enough time for every 1 to dodge the thing while it slowly hits the ground.

Welllllll considering how OP it will be against vehicles the cloud effect will be an important balancing factor.

When I kill people with the plasma cannon. It makes me feel good because you can't hate a person that actually managed to kill you with it, no matter how expensive your setup is.

It's true, everytime I lose a proto suit to a plasma cannon, I can only think "I deserve it".
Of course, this only happened to me twice, and one time was my own splash, but whatever
