What would you change to make this better? The main use for this would be to protect assaults on entrances and revived comrades. Also the shield only provides protection to the front, so you can be vulnerable to flanks.

Second, it should have a time limit, otherwise you can just run around with a pile of extra EHP on a scout and be all but unkillable if advancing through cover as a commando with it. I think he means that it can't be better at all, but i thinks its a good idea since its a new feature. This should be in feedback/requests. *Assassination is my thing.*

If were going down this road, I would say that STD-ADV-PRO time limit should be 10-20-30 sec with a 10-20-30 sec recharge time. No I don't think that the recharge time should be shorter than the active because that would just promote another way to totally break it and abuse it, it should be used only in the most extreme cases as a last line of defense kind of thing. (Your squad gets all shot up and you're down to you and another guy with a needle, while the enemy is trying to push in. You activate a 30 sec shield, the other guy picks everyone up, and you retreat, or try to get them repped and reformed for the defense.) Instead of shield for 30 sec, 15 sec recharge, shield for 30 sec, 15 sec recharge as you push up the field. Other than that, not having the ability to do anything other than walk, I like. It would be a true support equipment One could even make it even more of a last stand kind of equip by adding a 1.5x slower recharge rate if the shield is broken due to flux or damage since it would have to shut down, re-calibrate, then start to charge its capacitors again. The Gallente rely on mods, Caldari hives, or Minmatar repair tools. If they had a shield bubble type of thing, they can enter to have their armor repaired passively. That's all. The equipment try to make up for the racial weaknesses. Besides, the Caldari already have enough stuff as it is. Also, wrong section of the forums.
