Who uses the ACR and what tactics do you employ?

I prefer the auto version because I suck at aiming down scope on the burst variant. My problem with using it is the ROF will empty the clip in just over 3 seconds, turning me into a statue instead of strafing. I try to fire in bursts but often fall back into bad habits. I strafe with slower ROF weapons but want to stand still and land every round with this one. For those that use the BK and Six KIn, what are your thoughts on these weapons and more specifically what tactics do you employ with them? Its one of Dusts EZ modes. On any other suit than a scout I'll take the normal CR over the ACR. Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

And with this style of combat it is a monster. I've also started running CR/Swarms lately. That's also a blast. Proud Federal Marine & Republic Commando / Do you even lift?

It makes return fire much easier, while also leaving you vulnerable to snipers. If you're not in the habit of never standing still, get into it. If you're running this with a minmatar fit your operating in the hit and run category of tactics. Peak around cover, kill your target, and be gone. Its a surprisingly accurate gun, especially with some points into its dispersion skill. Because of this if you are at close range hipfire into their head. Spec into minmatar assault so you get moar rounds in the clip. Never ever stop moving in dust. If you do... You're dead. Like most people said it's best for hit and run. I personally prefer the burst CR because the ASMG does the job of ACR better in CQC for much less isks. SMG Specialist

Try sitting closer to the tv if you have problems aiming and watch how you'll vastly improve your accuracy. It helps a lot if you're at ranged engagements. Your post is making me facepalm very hard right now.

Amazing weapon; the six kin is by far the best rifle in the game currently. You can literally melt people in seconds with decent accuracy. I run it with my mk.0 scout and NKs. Great combo and it's a Heavy killer lol. "One does not simply" look for a scout, it looks for you.
