great post... dust is definitely my favourite FPS and if they can get that MMO aspect in the game by summer, i might skip destiny on the ps4 to play this game through next winter...

5 reasons why it's not:

1: Lag

2: Speed of development, bug/glitch repair

3: Lack of customization in a MMO

4: Lack of Release Date content

5: Scotty

Any 2 of those are lethal to the longevity of a game - and I could quickly pop off another 5-10 that most players wouldn't tolerate either.

In chromo

Tanks vs AV was balanced
Forge gun worked
Scouts were about speed
Heavies were balanced to the other suits
Etc.

Destiny is on ps3 too,id skip dust because of how unbalanced it is

I will now shine my patented Hate Lamp to make the above as negative as possible for kicks.

1. Many players have invested money into this game. For some hundreds of dollars. All to support a vision that never came to be and may never come.
2. The current iteration of the game economy is a joke. Unfluctuating proxy NPC markets and the built in super ISK farms cannot count as an economy.
3. Because CCP has trouble balancing things, customization can be fairly lack luster and cause even more imbalance in the game. (Why does CCP have such a hard time balancing things?!)
4. By catering to the loudest QQ and not delivering/fixing in a timely manner, DEVs have made the community a toxic cesspool of BUFF THAT or NERF THIS, OMG THIS IS OP, and general disappointment in lack of game balance and development.
5. EVE lore is awesome. Dust514 lore can be stupid at times. For example: It is cheaper to use immortal clones than an army of drones. Better yet, lets have guys fight on the ground when we could totally win a war from orbit. Nanohives storing enough energy to do the required alchemy to change nanites into different elements for gunpowder, plasma, etc... I was incapacitated so I totally cant use this handy nanite injector to revive my self. Etc...

PS: I'm not really that negative. I had to balance out your positives with negative crap.

Though it lacks an economy planetside 2 is by far a better F2P FPS than Dust currently and likely will remain so until Dust is ported to PC like god had originally intended.
